Super Friend Or Super Foe?

Doing a kind of pop surrealist thing inspired by the Jimmy Olsen comics.

Sticker sale

I'm selling a sticker I created at my etsy store (http://www.etsy.com/shop/InvisibleHandStudio?ref=pr_shop).

Bob Hauk: There was an accident. About an hour ago, a small jet went down inside New York City. The President was on board.
Snake Plissken: The president of what?

New Cartoons

I've been posting stuff on my Deviant Art page lately (http://visigothic.deviantart.com) and neglecting this blog. So here's a huge regurgitation of recent cartoons. You're welcome, America.

President of what?

A drawing of Snake Plissken I did for a thing I'm working on.

My entry for the Resident Evil contest. The challenge was to depict the character called The Executioner.
The executioner was a figure commonly seen in the Middle Ages and Renaissance, when public executions were mass entertainment. So I drew my inspiration from the drawings of Leonardo and Michaelangelo. The title, 'Carnifax' is the Latin word for 'executioner'.

LOL Glenn Beck

Glenn Beck is giving a speech on MLK Day at the same spot Dr. King gave the "I have a dream" speech. Here's a suggestion for a line GB could use in his speech.

Things I Love About Chicago, Part 1

The giant teeth and dentist and tooth fairy figures on this sign for a dentist's office:

A store that just sells vintage stoves and furnaces. One of the stoves has this great logo:

New Cartoon

I've combined my love for Film Noir and bizarre juxtapositions for this strip. My original idea was for a whole series about David Bowie being a private eye who was a master of disguise, but could only disguise himself as his previous personas. The dialog would have included a lot of tough guy quips based on Bowie's lyrics. But I couldn't figure out how to make it work without becoming tedious real soon.

So I decided to pare it down to the essential elements. Good thing, too, because I got sick of this thing long before finishing it.

Naturally, since this is a strip about David Bowie, the font I used for the dialog is called Action Man.
